Anne Shelton
was one of the greatest British singing stars of the 40s and 50s. Her songs
including 'Lili Marlene' and 'Lay Down Your Arms' kept troops and civilians in
high spirits throughout the Second World War and into the 1990s.
Little is
known of the real Anne Shelton, her career with legends such as Ambrose, Glenn
Miller and Bing Crosby and her private life.
